"Anything together, really. We're a team." This is what Amanda and Joe said when I asked what their favorite moments are as a couple, and it's so clear when you meet them that they make a great team. It's probably one of my favorite things about these two, they completely balance each other out. Amanda is a little more outgoing while Joe is a little more quiet, and the two of them together are perfect.
Joe asked Amanda to marry him during a cookout at his future in-law's house. He did it in front of her whole family and as Amanda described it, it was super sweet and intimate. I can tell you right now, it doesn't take long for someone to see that Joe adores his future wife. Amanda has one of the best smiles, and when she laughs you can see his eyes light up. Their connection is strong and it's clear that these two are genuinely in love!
We met at Historic Oak View park in Raleigh for their engagement session and had such a great time! Even though the weather was gloomy, we made the most of it and got some amazing photos. After the park, we headed over to Downtown Raleigh. I am seriously in love with shooting downtown! These locations were perfectly romantic and the two of them made it even more so. As a wedding photographer, finding a couple with as great a connection as them is a dream come true! They were naturals in front of the camera!
Amanda and Joe are the sweetest couple and I'm so excited to be shooting their wedding next June at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh!
