It has been a little over a month since I started my new adventure as a stay at home mom/photographer. Most of the past month has been spent getting adjusted to our new schedule, tweaking things here and there, and finding what works best for our family. However, along the way something has happened that I wasn't even expecting. There have been many ups and downs over the past month. While I love every second of being home, I will also be the first to admit that this is not easy! Through all the ups and downs, the bond between Brayden and I has somehow grown even stronger than it was. Being home with him has allowed me to see a side of him I haven't had the chance to see. I am able to be here for him day in and day out and am the person he turns to when he needs help. He is growing up each and every day. Being a part of each others days has changed our relationship in the best way possible.
My heart has been so full of love for this little boy from the moment I first laid eyes on him. We have always had a special connection, as all mothers and sons do, but now I'm starting to see the love we have for each other evolve into something so wonderful. This is why I have always wanted to be home with him. The connection we are building makes every day, the good ones and bad ones, so very worth it. I am so grateful for these days and the many more to come. <3
